Via Mortola is a multimedia artist from Oakland, California. They are primarily a print maker, focusing on lithography and intaglio processes. They are an avid color user, and delve into ideas of surrealism, identity and character analysis, focusing on investigation of the self. They currently reside in Chicago Illinois, and are pursuing a BFA degree at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, which will be completed in spring of 2026.
